"Prayer Must Be A Priority And Our Daily Habit"

If you are to achieve your purpose in life, you need to cultivate a lifestyle of prayer. Prayer is the catalyst for lift-off and the sustaining power when you are in a fight.

As children of God, we are strangers in this land because we belong to the Kingdom of God. Through prayer, God is able to speak to us and we are able to respond to Him. Prayer must not be a once in a while thing we do when there is trouble or when time permits. Prayer must be a priority and our daily habit.

Make a decision from now on to devote yourself daily to prayer.

"Know What To Believe"

You will need to follow these steps if you want to know what to believe :

1. You need to read the New Testament but please don't forget to ask the Lord to teach you and reveal Himself to you before you read.

2. Do listen to teachers or preachers who speak the Word of God which builds your faith and makes you love and appreciate God more.

3. Stop listening to lies when you have the feeling of not being loved as if the whole world is against you; or that you are hopeless/helpless.

4. Now, you have to listen to the truth and God's truth is His Word.

The truth is, God loves you even more than you love yourself. All your troubles have been caused by the devil, and your ignorance, NOT BY GOD!

"Triumph Over Trouble"

All of us who are called by His Name will face difficulties inevitably, but Jesus always gives us the victory! Our troubles are temporary and endurable as we tap His resources of peace during our pain.

I have failed His test but I didn't give up. Yes! I fell - many times in fact but He was always there to pick me up - I am truly in awe by His promises to provide courage and confidence based on the fact that He has "overcome the world". We are a fallen race living in a fallen place - but be of good cheer. He has overcome the world!

If you are "in Him", the world's assault cannot stand against the race, confidence, and peace that He has generously provides.

"Something Better Is Coming Tomorrow"

Our confident expectation is in God, who sees, knows and will ultimately turn an upside-down world right-side up at the appearing of our Lord. Every righteous decision will be rewarded. Every wrong choice will be judged and every motive will be revealed.
No leader, pastor, family, or spouse can be everything that we hope and dream they will be. People, places, positions always let us down. Only Jesus is worthy of all our hopes and all our confidence. Maybe you find yourself a little down today - Take heart! Lift up your eyes, set your hope fully on Jesus because something better is coming tomorrow.

"Speak The Word Of God"

We must speak God's Word to actively resist doubt, so ut won't defeat us. The Bible says, "Do not merely listen to the Word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says". We need to personalize the Bible, and act on it. To accomplish this, we must first speak in agreement with what the Bible says.

Let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won't be doing what your sinful nature craves. The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are opposite of what the sinful nature desires.

All through the Bible, we read about the new things God has given us. The Christian life is all about being new, different , and changed. When we confess Christ as Savior, God connects us with the resurrection power of Jesus Christ and the power of sin in our life is broken. Sin may try to get our attention but it cannot boss us around anymore. In Christ you have the power to be the person God wants you to be. No pattern of thinking holds you. No pattern of behavior enslaves you. The power that raised Jesus from the dead now gives you the freedom to do what is right. God has declared you a new creature in Christ Jesus.

"God Wants To Bless Us"

Just because you have not yet received the fullness of God's blessing does not mean God does not desire that you have it. We must grow up and quit blaming God. Instead, we should seek Him for understanding and help so that we may receive all God has for us. Yes, God warns against trusting in riches or being deceived by them. Anything can be dangerous if not used properly. God is not against His children having wealth. He just does not want us to trust in it and worship it.

Let's line our thinking up with the Bible and quit letting the devil rob us of the blessings God intends for us. Our God is our wealthy Father Who loves us and delights to bless us. 

 

"God Created Us To Be Fruitful"

Anything that helps people can be fulfilling. This is your purpose as a human being. This is what will fulfill you and give you satisfaction. Of course, without God we will never be satisfied, no matter what we do. People who are not productive are not happy because God created us to be productive. We are designed to accomplish.

Every living human being is capable of this. No matter who you are, or what your limitations are, there is some way you can make a difference.

Things such as too much entertainment is not the answer and it can keep us from being fruitful. When that happens we feel unsatisfied and unfulfilled. Only walking with God and being fruitful will satisfy us, because that is how God designed us.

Jesus desires a central place in your life so He can bless you more. Make room for Jesus in your life today.

As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job's perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.
God's Word will come to pass in your life. Don't quit believing. Imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises of God.

Patience is not just putting up with things. Patience means to continue, to persevere, to stay steady, to maintain your course, to not grow weary in doing good and quit. Patience is a fruit of the spirit, so to walk in Bible patience you must keep your spiritual life strong, by feeding on the Word and fellowshiping with God.

We receive from God by faith, but our faith has to be undergirded by patience to possess and enjoy His promises. It's normal for there to be a time of waiting and testing when we believe the promises of God. But hang on to your faith and it will see you through.

The Bible tells us not to get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up. More than anything, keep feeding on God's Word. The Word is what has the power to change things in your life. It is the power that drives the whole Kingdom of God. God's Word is the seed. So God's Word will bring forth God's will in your life if you will just plant it in your heart and protect it until it produces a harvest. So, trust God and keep on walking in faith and love. Keep on doing what you know is right.

You may have failed, but you are not a failure. It is not the essence of what and who you are. Failure is just something that happened to you.

God created you, and He made you able to do good. Maybe you have not yet discovered what you were created for, but God has a plan for you. When you fit into God's plan you will find that God truly made you "a work of His art." Find out what you were created to be and do. Then rejoice as you do it because you are God's unique work of art - still in progress.

We had gone our own way, were lost, and couldn't find our way back to fellowship with God. Fortunately, God loved us and did something to help us. God is not holding people's sins against them! As far as God is concerned, Christ's sacrifice paid the penalty for all sin and God considers the world reconciled back to Him. This wonderful good news of what God has done has been committed to us. Human beings must tell it. If we don't, it won't be told.

People can live and die and never know the glorious truth that God is not holding any sins against them if no one tells them. They need to know they are forgiven, loved by God, and welcome to come back into fellowship with Him through Christ. God is interested in reconciliation. Not in shutting you, or others, out. He is inviting humanity in, saying all is forgiven.

Don't wait to receive Jesus. Don't put off doing the will of God. Don't wait to tell someone you love them. Keep your focus on God. Trust in Him, and do what God leads you to do today.

People may reject you but Jesus won't. Jesus died for sinners and He loves them. He will help them if only they will come to Him. Jesus didn't come to condemn us, but to help us. If we could make ourselves perfect, we wouldn't need a Savior.
